CHANDAG FOUR NAMED IN REPRESENTATIVE SIDE

from the Bath Chronicle 11:00 - 21 September 2004

The Bath Primary Schools' line-up has been selected for the 2004/05 campaign following two trial days for the area's top young talent. A total of 18 youngsters have been called up for the representative squad, with Chandag School providing four players.

The Bath Schools' players selected for this season are: Samuel Clarke, Ryan Moore, Jack Neil and Jamie Smithies (all Chandag), Joseph Davies and Paris Grappy (both WASPS), Charlie Wills, Milo McNulty and Cas McCormick (all The Paragon), Harry Daniels (St Stephen's), Lee Hedges (Chew Magna), Alexander Jacobs (St Mary's), Andrew Marks (Southdown), Bradley Norris (Oldfield Park), William Oswin (Newbridge), Jack Rowlands (St Steven's), Scott Kristian (Kingswood) and George Wightman (Timsbury).

The representative team will be coached by Tim Kirk and they will once again face stiff opposition this season.

They begin their new campaign with friendlies against Swindon, Gloucester and the newly-formed team from West Wilts.

The West Wilts district squad will be managed by Gordon Campbell and Michael Collins and the line-up is set to be announced after a final trial session at Winsley Primary School on Thursday, September 30.

They will play friendly matches and take part in two cup competitions in their first season.

West Wilts' first match is their friendly against Bath Primary Schools on Friday, October 8 at the University of Bath.
