2005 - The Bath Chronicle
The top players of the season
for TeamBath Futures and the Bath Schools' team
were honoured at an awards evening last week.
More than 100 people helped celebrate a highly- successful
year for both clubs, with the Bath Schools' side
reaching the national schools' FA cup final for
the first time and the TeamBath Futures Under 13
team winning the Mid Wilts League sportsmanship award.
TeamBath also enjoyed a successful tour of Germany,
while Bath Schools' competed in the week-long national
festival in Jersey.
Coach
Tim Kirk said: "This was a great way to end the season with
players and all their families coming together to celebrate
the improvement the boys have made over the year.
"It
has been extremely difficult to single out individuals and I
think all the players walked away tonight feeling proud of
what they have achieved this year."
The
awards were presented by England Futsal players Marc Canham
and Neil Saunders and TeamBath goalkeeper Ali Hines.
